First Day of First Grade

I have been waiting all summer for school to start. I couldn't wait to start first grade and go to school all day. And the week before school started I found out that I got the teacher I really wanted. So I was super excited for the first day of school.

Mom made my favorite banana chocolate chip muffins for breakfast and put up cool decorations again. She even made her own chalkboard out of an old picture frame! And my placemat was like a chalkboard to draw on.

My desk is in the very front of the classroom and I'm sitting next to my friend from t-ball.

 The first day of school was a little rough because it felt so long. But every day since then has been awesome!  I love first grade!
