Low Tide

We went to low tide at Seahurst Beach again this year and this time I got to explore in the water instead of hanging out in the Snugli the whole time like last year.  The beach is so fun!  I got to touch slimy green stuff.

And break this slimy brown ball.

And splash in the freezing cold water.  My boots kept my feet from getting cut up, but they didn't keep out the water.  It sloshed right in there cuz I went too deep.  But I didn't mind.

I got to touch a hermit crab.

And a huge pretty purple starfish.

Ty didn't want to explore with us at first.  He had fun playing in this little creek at the top of the beach.  (see what I mean about the boots.  The water was too deep for them.)

But after lunch Ty decided that exploring the beach might be fun too.  I'm sure glad he walked around with us because he found some cool shells.

Yeah, there's nothing like running around on a beach full of seaweed

and chasing after your big brother.
