Annual Hospital VisitMomma and Dadda like to bring me to the hospital once a year to torture me. Last year it was Pneumonia and they tried to suck the life from my lunges. The year before was my tummy troubles and they gave me a second belly button. This year they decided to raise the bar. The doctor poked holes in my ears and then still had time to play around with my throat.

Here's momma pretending to be on my side, but I knew better. I wasn't going down without a fight. It took a lot of drugs to make me look like this. The other kids in the hospital may have been conformers, but not me. I'm no tool. I gave 'em hell the whole way. I even tried my best to rip that tube out of my hand. They may have been able to take my pride by dressing me in a purple gown, but they couldn't take my fight!

When I got home I was exhausted, but I finally won. After months of Momma and Dadda trying to make me into a good boy, they finally gave up and allowed me to do whatever I want. I watched Toy Story 6 times in a row and ate only marshmallows for two days. Just for fun I would cry and Momma did whatever I wanted.

My girl friends made me a card and brought me cupcakes. The new kid at church even brought otter pops. I think he was just trying to butter me up, though. He has been beggin me to introduce him to my girl friends.

After three days of faking it, Momma finally caught me feeling good. Now that she knows, I think she might make me eat yucky food again. I may even have to go to time out. Oh well... there's always next years hospital trip.
