Here's a quick wave to everyone who's been waiting to hear from me.

I wasn't exactly ready to come out of Mommy's tummy yet, which is why I've been scowling ever since I was born.

But it turns out my family is pretty nice, so now I wish I had come out sooner.

Mommy was induced around 9am on Tuesday morning. That means they were sick of waiting for me and decided to force me out of my comfy warm place. But I gave everyone a good fight. I managed to hang out in there until almost 4am Wednesday morning (ten days overdue). And then I pretty much cried nonstop for the first two hours after I came out. Ha! I showed them! (And for anyone wondering, Mommy had a successful VBAC.)

My big brother is soooo nice! He loves to hold me and give me kisses. He even shares his blankie with me!

So far the world isn't so bad. I can't wait to see more of it.

Stubborn, determined, strong-willed, obstinate

These are all words Mommy would use to describe my Baby Sister right now, since she is STILL NOT HERE!

That's one week late, in case anyone besides us is keeping track.

Mommy has another doctor's appointment tomorrow, so if Baby Sister isn't here by tomorrow morning, they'll probably try to force her out with something called indigestion. I mean indecision. No wait, it has something to do with a duck. Oh yeah! Induction. I'll keep you posted.

Still waiting...

So, in case anyone is wondering, my Baby Sister still isn't here. That means she is five days late so far and Mommy is getting a little annoyed. So until we have pictures of Baby Sister, I thought I'd fill you in on what I've been up to lately.

I discovered that I love hot chocolate--as long as it's lukewarm and has a big blob of whipped cream on top that I can eat with a spoon.

I've been organizing. I separated the red and green M&Ms for Daddy so he could easily choose which color he wanted.

I've been building tons of things with my Legos--things with wheels are my favorite.

And I've rediscovered my blocks and have been building lots of towers.

Last weekend we went to our ward Christmas Party. (Mommy was sure we wouldn't make it because we'd have a new baby by then. Her mother's intuition is slightly off.) Santa Claus came and I was really nervous to see him.

At least this year I didn't try and push him away--and Mommy and Daddy didn't have to be in the picture with me. I was just trying not to cry.

Still trying not to cry...getting a candy cane didn't make me feel much better.

Then someone said Santa had stinky feet and Santa tried to hang the candy cane on my ear. I thought that was pretty funny and decided Santa isn't so scary up close.

Hopefully the next time I post anything, it will be pictures of me and my new Baby Sister. I told Mommy that she's coming on Christmas Eve because I really want to see what she looks like.

Merry Christmas!

I'm famous!

Every few months, Renton comes out with a brochure of classes and activities offered in the city. The newest issue came out and look what Mommy found while flipping through the pages:

This pic went along with an ad for my preschool. This is my preschool class, and there I am front and center! If anyone wants an autograph just let me know.

My Pictures

So Mommy finally uploaded the pictures I took with my new camera that I got for my birthday. What do you think? I think turning on the high-resolution feature on the camera made all the difference. Aren't these some quality photos?

As long as the flash is on and nobody moves, the pictures turn out pretty good. Let me know if you want to set up a photo session. My fees are pretty low right now since I'm just starting out. : )
