Are these any better?

These glasses seem to fit better.

And if this isn't a look of pure intelligence, I don't know what is. Can't you just see the wheels turning in my head?

Camping Part 1

We went camping at Mossyrock a couple of weeks ago with some friends. The weather was awesome and we had a ton of fun. Mommy and Daddy managed to take almost 150 pictures in two days, so there are a lot of pics to post. Sorry!

Here's my friend Katy getting a little too close for my comfort. It's hard to tell by the shadow on my face (Mommy probably took this brilliant shot), but I am completely innocent.

Hanging out around the campfire (even though you can't see it in this shot). Notice I wasn't stuck in a Pack n Play all weekend because I'm a big boy now (never mind the fact that I'm still sleeping in a crib at home and have lost all interest in potty training).

Mommy's opening the chocolate for S'mores.

Getting ready to play some baseball:

Stand back!

A little coaching from Daddy.
Karissa stood nice and close to me when she threw the ball, just to give me a better chance of hitting it.

I wasn't sure how many pics would fit in a post, so continue to the next post for more photos.

Camping Part 2

There was a little beach near our campsite where people could tie up their boats. This was out first preview of the water.

I couldn't wait to get in a boat (although we didn't have one) and couldn't stop testing out other people's rafts and thingsin preparation.

There was also a little playground near the water.

Before heading out to do some real swimming, all of the Daddies went to see if they could rent a boat somewhere in town (they couldn't) and all of the Mommies decided the kids were tired and cranky and tried to get us to fall asleep while watching a movie (we didn't).
I haven't figured out how to push the pedals on a bike yet, but I don't I look studly in the helmet?

Camping Part 3

Now we're talking. The lake was cold, and I spent a lot of time shivering, but it was so much fun. Do you like my little life vest.

Since I was wearing the life vest, I could go out as far as I wanted in the lake, sorr of.

Everyone hanging out in the water:

I didn't want to nap because I thought I would miss all the fun. But then while Mommy was carry me around for a little walk, I put my head on her shoulder, and the next thing I knew, I was laying in the sand.

A rare photo of just Mommy and Daddy.

Camping, The Finale

This is the end, I promise. Some of the kids hanging out, waiting for dinner.

Charise let all of the kids help make Muddy Buddies. Karissa got to lick the spoon.

Katy really liked the Muddy Buddies.

A picture of all of the kids. This was no easy task getting all of us to sit there and look at the camera.

I preferred sleeping with Mommy and Daddy in their bed while we were camping instead of the little mat they had for me. I slept great in between them, but I got the impression that they were really tired in the morning.

Before heading home, we stopped to check out Mossyrock Dam.
I love camping. I think we're going to do it once more this year. Can't wait!

Do I look smarter?

So, what do you think? Do glasses make me look smarter?

Renton River Days Parade

A couple of weekends ago, we got to see the Renton River Days Parade. I was so excited because last year they had garbage trucks and fire engines, and it was really cool!

Here I am all ready to go.

We met my friend Amelia at the parade and my friend Seth showed up a little later.
Some of the highlights:

Some people threw candy. If you try to look cute, they'll walk right up and give it to you. Amelia and I traded some of our stash with each other.

Daddy got tired of holding me right next to all of the cool stuff. He tried to take a break, but I saw that there was still more stuff coming and wouldn't let him.

A candy break:

The pirates were a little scary, especially their big boat with the super loud cannon.

And here's my token picture with Mommy. It seems that when Mommy has the camera, she makes sure to include Daddy in the pictures. When Daddy is taking pictures, he usually just zooms in on me.

I can't wait for the parade next year!
