My friends Amelia and her parents came along. It was so much fun to have a friend to hang out with. Unfortunately there was a burn ban going on so we couldn't have a fire and had to just sit around a bunch of red coals that were burning in the fire pit. They didn't give off much heat, but they were perfect for roasting marshmallows later.

My parents and Amelia's parents had tin foil dinners to eat.
The next morning it was pretty chilly, but we went and played in the river anyway. The water was super cold. Mommy didn't want to touch it so she just let everyone else get wet while she took pictures from the shore. (What a wimp!)
Austin started walking down the river and I wanted to follow, but Margaret wouldn't let me because I still had my tennis shoes on and would get all wet.
Daddy solved that problem by taking my pants and shoes off so that I could play in the water.
I don't care how cold it is, water is always fun.
One of Austin's shoes broke in the water! He had to tie it together with branches from a nearby tree so that he could walk back to camp.

It looks like you guys had a lot of fun. We have some of the same pictures of Hayden from last year. We love camping at Ensign Ranch.
Ty I had so much fun camping with you. I wish my mom would post on our blog as well as your mom does. Thanks for sharing your chair, your truck and food with me. Next time we'll sneak off into the water when my mom isn't looking.
Love Amelia

That giant slip'n slide is the best! It pulls anyone to it. Thats the main reason we even go there...camping? whatever, there is a giant slip'n slide!!!
