We got to go to Utah last week and it was SO MUCH FUN!!!! I love Utah! The only thing I didn't like about it was how hot it was. We left our crayons and some chocolate in the car while we were at temple square and they melted!!!
Mom always thinks she's taking lots of pictures when we go places and she thinks they're all turning out fine because everything looks good on a little screen on your camera. Then she gets home and puts them on the computer and realizes she didn't get nearly as many good pictures as she thought. So these will have to do.
First stop was to visit my best bud Amelia. I hadn't seen her in two years, but we picked up right where we left off. I love Amelia.
Amelia and Charlotte and Margaret came with us to Temple Square. We went into a visitor's center and found this totally awesome statue of Jesus. I got to touch the nail prints in His feet.
And while we were there, guess who showed up?! Grandma and Grandpa Johnson! We had no idea they were going to be there.
We went to a church history museum and saw some cool stuff there. We tried pulling this handcart. It wasn't too hard when it was empty, but it would probably be super heavy loaded up with stuff.
We also got to play in this Book of Mormon section of the museum. We got to dress up in cultural clothes and follow a video to dance. (Well, the girls did that. I found better stuff to do.)
They had a play kitchen and garden area, so Sydney was in heaven, and Peyton had to get right in there to pick the veggies. (Of course, I was off doing cooler stuff.)
I found a place where you could trace strange symbols like they had in the gold plates.
And I tried to lift the gold plates. They were so heavy! How did Joseph Smith carry those things around?
We also got to fish in Nephi's boat.
After that we had lunch and then took a few quick pictures with the temple. The temple is so pretty.
And I love the conference center so we had to take a picture with that. There was so much else to do, but we ran out of time, so when we visit Utah again, there will be lots for us to see still.
That night we stayed with Mom's cousin and I got a new Metalbeard Lego set! Sydney was in heaven because there were lots of princess toys and tiny dolls for her to play with.
The next day we met Grandma and Grandpa Johnson at Thanksgiving Point. We started with pony rides.
And then Syd fed some of the animals.
We saw this cool peacock that wasn't too happy with us because it kept shaking its feathers to make this rattling sound. I think it was trying to scare us away, but I wasn't scared one bit.
After a picnic lunch, we went into this super fun museum, and all the parents got lost right away. After we found them, we had fun exploring all kinds of things. Mom had a hard time taking pictures because she couldn't keep up with us. Plus she had to hold Peyton most of the time.

| There were 85 mph winds blowing at me. |
 |
| Wish we'd found this Lego room first. It was the last thing we did, so I didn't get to play in there much. |
 |
| I had a hard time keeping my eyes open in the outdoor pictures because the sun is so darn bright in Utah. |
That night we had dinner at Mom's friend's house. They were roommates at BYU and hadn't seen each other in almost 20 years! She had a boy and girl close to mine and Syd's ages, so it was really fun playing with them.
The next day we headed to BYU and I loved it! I can't wait to go there. We saw the giant library and ate lunch at the CougarEat. Then I got a BYU hat at the bookstore, while Mom, Syd, and Peyton got t-shirts. We also got treats for the flight home. Peach rings are so good! And guess who we saw at BYU? Margaret and Amelia and Charlotte! And we saw them three times there! I love Amelia.

| I thought this was George Washington at first. Did you know that BYU stands for Brigham Young University? |
 |
| Can you see the Y in the background? I'm making a Y with my body. |
I was so sad to leave Utah. I hope we go back soon!
