Random catch-up

Here are some randome pictures that will hopefully get us almost caught up. I love to hold my sister. A rare thing in our house: sleeping Sydney. Actually, she sleeps, just not for very long. Skip the timer when you're cooking and just put Sydney down for a nap. She'll be up 45 minutes later to the minute.

Red letter day! I ate the crust on my sandwich for the very first time...and I liked it! (In this picture I'm telling Mom that it's all gone.

Cooking snickerdoodles for Dad.

Classic Dad...feeding a snickerdoodle to Sydney.

This is how Dad and I spend all of our free time. We love Star Wars legos!

And Sydney loves watching us play.

Mom bought Sydney a mobile for her crib hoping it would help her fall asleep more easily on her own. Sydney thinks it's cool to watch, for a while, and then she starts crying for someone to bounce her to sleep. So much for that idea.

Dad, Ty, and Syd--we all love to watch TV.

Visitors

We've had a few people come see us the past month. First, Aunt Kari and her friend Karin came to visit. We got to go to the Museum of Flight. Look what I found--an airplane with a tiger on it! Get it? A tiger--like me.

Sydney didn't seem to impressed with the museum. She looked around at all the stuff but didn't get very excited like I did.

Karin took me flying in an airplane.

Then I took a minute in the air control tower to check up on the weather.

After that, I got to fly in space.

It sure was fun having my aunt here.

A couple weeks later, Grandma and Grandpa came up from California. We went to the Rainforest Cafe for lunch and got to sit by some gorillas!

Sydney loves when people come visit because she gets to be held all the time.

Baby sisters

This is what happens when you have a baby sister. Mommy was going to take me to Kidopolis, but it takes forever to get baby sister ready. So I found a comfy place to wait. We didn't make it to Kidopolis today.

Me and My Bumbo

Mommy bought me a Bumbo to sit in so that I'm not always laying on my back and making the bald spot on my head worse. I really like it.

Most of the time. Luckily my big brother is always around to make me feel better. One thing I love about the Bumbo is that I can be a part of family dinners. And I can have staring contests with my brother. The Bumbo is great to sit in, but what I really like to do in it... is twist around... and start chewing. Mmmm. Tasty.

Smiles and more

My mom has seriously got to get on the ball and keep pictures of me updated on this blog! I mean, I can't tell the world what's going on with me until she posts the pictures. These pics are 3-4 weeks old. I'm much bigger now and not only can I smile, but I've laughed a few times too.

I love bath time. Seriously. Skip to the next few pictures to see how much.

And I love cuddle time after my bath.

I'll keep bugging Mommy to stay current with the pictures on here. I mean, it's not like she's busy with much else. I'm almost three months old. I can practically take care of myself.

Vacation!!!!

Right after the snow storm we escaped to the beach for a fabulous weekend vacation with some of my friends. I loved the snow, but I thought it would be really fun to hang out at the sunny beach and build some sand castles.

Unfortunately, the beach looked like this:

That's not white sand and those aren't swimsuits we're wearing. But we didn't mind.

The sand was really hard to dig in, but we all worked together to build a sand castle.

What do you think of the final result?

More fun at the beach:

On the way back from the beach, we stopped by a little hill and did some sledding.

Sydney even came out for the fun, although she didn't actually go down the hill.

After a while it started feeling cold outside. uckily, this was the house we stayed in for four days:

And there was plenty to do inside. Amelia and I mapped out where our house was and what activities we wanted to do.

Me and baby sister hangin out on the bed.

Playing the Wii.

Watching a movie.
Warming up in the hot tub.

Watching another movie.

Dad and Mom decided to brave the beach a second time with Syd.

They got a little cold, but she stayed plenty warm.

All my friends (and their moms and dads).

I can't wait to go on vacation again!
