Catch up!

I don't know what happens during the month of July, but somehow I fall out of the blogging world. So here's a (kind of) quick wrap up of our month so far.

I had my last track meet. These pics are of my second to last meet that Mom and Dad were at. Grandma and Grandpa de Jong were visiting and they took me to my VERY last meet while Mom and Dad went to the temple.

Somehow Grandpa got roped into volunteering as a timer.

My best buds Lane and Palmer and I ran around like crazy kids chasing Syd in between our events. Sydney totally thinks she's one of the big kids.

Getting ready to run the 400. That's one whole lap around the track! Lane and I are actually too young to run this race, but we were dying to run one full lap so we snuck in.

Do you have any idea how exhausting it is to run a lap when it's super hot outside and you're six years old??!!

I thought I was going to die. But then I recovered and ran the 200 next. I can't wait to do track again next year. I love running!

Grandma and Grandpa de Jong came for a visit and while they were here we went to Kubota Garden. It is so pretty and it was a perfect day for it.

 

Grandma and I also played World War 3 while they were here.

I won.

Mom, Dad, Syd, and me went to feed the ducks. The ducks actually took bread right out of mine and Dad's hands!

Then we had fun playing on the playground and Dad bought us a big shaved ice to share (although I really wanted my own).

I love summer! There is so much fun stuff to do!!!!
