Day Out With Thomas

Last weekend I got to spend Saturday afternoon with Thomas!!! There was so much to see and do. We got to see a model train ride around on a track, and even crash!

I got to play with different Thomas train sets.

I got a tattoo of James.

I had my picture taken with Sir Topham Hatt.

I got my very own engineer cap.

I got to eat blue bubblegum ice cream.

And then we got to ride on Thomas!!!! I had my very own seat next to an open window.

Mommy and Daddy let me take a picture of them. This is the first time they've let me touch the camera on purpose. It was really heavy and hard to hold up.

Our train passed right over Snoqualmie Falls and we got to see this view of the river. Totally cool!

And here I am with my best buddy Thomas.

My favorite part was riding backwards and forwards on Thomas. I hope I get spend the day with him again next summer!

Look, Ma, no shoes!

I have finally decided that being outside is totally fun, and it's even better when you don't wear shoes and get as dirty as possible. Up until a few weeks ago, I needed to be practically bribed to play outside and I refused to go out unless I was wearing shoes. It's only taken me three years to figure out what being a boy is all about.

I asked Daddy if we wanted to help me work in the garden, and he was kind enough to act as supervisor.

I also figured out how to turn the hose on and made another swimming pool in my sandbox. But this time, that wasn't enough.

I decided it would be even more fun to build mud mountains on my pants.

Of course, the downside of getting all muddy is that Mommy and Daddy won't let you back into the house until you've been stripped down in the backyard and hosed off with freezing cold water.

The only other downer is that my Kiss Me shirt is utterly ruined. Oh well, I'm sure it will be joined by more shirts before the summer is over.
