Happy Birthday, Cooper!

Yesterday was Cooper's birthday. He would be two now, if he were here with us. It would be fun to have a two-year-old brother who could play cars with me, and play in my sandbox, and jump on my bed. Mommy does those things with me, but she has a short attention span and can only hang out in the sandbox for so long.

We brought balloons and cupcakes that Mommy and I made to Cooper's grave. We also left him some pretty calla lilies--thanks to some friends who let us cut them out of their yard. I even gave Cooper one of my Lightning McQueen cars because I loved the movie Cars when I was two and I thought he would two. Besides, I gave him one of my dirt McQueen's which I had two of.

The cupcakes were so yummy. Definitely my favorite part.

It was such a nice day that we just hung out at the cemetery for a long time.

After a while, the balloons got a little frisky and I had to put them in their place.

We all wish Cooper was here with us now, but we're so thankful to know that we will be able to see him again someday. And we're so thankful that we get to have another baby come to our family--I'm thinking it's a sister, but we won't know for sure until August. By then I'll probably want another brother.

What a wuss!!

So this picture explains why my mom never gets sick when she's pregnant. She a total wuss. This is how my mom spent most of the day yesterday. She had some weird 24-hour flu or something. Actually, I think I gave it to her. This picture was actually taken Monday morning after I spent seven hours throwing up on Sunday night and kept Mommy up until 2 in the morning.

But this is basically what she did when she was sick--laid around, mostly in bed. Luckily I have some really great friends that let me play with them for a bit to give Mommy a break (their mom's are pretty cool too).

A cold or headache now and then are no big deal, but Heavenly Father apparently knows Mommy can't handle more than a day of being sick to her stomach. If she had to endure morning sickness like a lot of pregnant women do, I would probably be an only child.
